Default Wtb Proper Skill Update

As we know, skill update will be comming on the 11th, and id like to see one skill buffed.

Spotless Mind, same casting time and recharge and duration. But id like to see it set to removing a hex every 3 seconds. its current status of every 5 secs is a hex removed twice during its duration, since at 14 heal it lasts 13 seconds.

this would be a good counter to hexway pressure, and it wont destroy anything.

I agree

nothing game breaking as it can be removed, hexers have to strip it and monks have to cover it

Spotless Mind doesn't need a buff, it sees plenty of play already and is quite a good skill.

20% longer ench weapon swapping makes it 3 hexes removed.

Yeah, I agree 100%, I woudn't mind seeing Shield of Judgement recharge time being decreased either.

Sure, if you make it an elite skill.

If you want to deal with hexway, try something like [convert hexes] or [divert hexes] or bring a second hex removal skill.

Still, I wouldn't mind if spotless mind was buffed. Maybe one hex every 4 seconds.

Hex removal is meant to be limited in this game outside of specific skills that mainly target hexes, and I'd say removing 3 hexes with one 5e non-elite skill is pretty good already. That's the only way hex-heavy builds can even be played.

And here I thought this thread was going to be about lack of any big proper skill updates since around Nightfall.

Big changes coming on Thursday, you'll have to see if Spotless Mind is one of them.

Hexes are supposed to be harder to resist than conditions, even if they are not always as potent. That's why you'll never find a hex removal that can be spammed like [mend condition] or [dismiss condition], because that was never Anet's intention. If you want a single skill to provide perpetual defense against hexes, I think it's only fair that you should cough up your elite slot for [expel hexes] or [divert hexes]. Spotless Mind is already a viable option for multiple hex removal as it is, and if I were you I'd just be grateful for that.

The reason why hexes are harder to remove is:
1) They have longer recharges then most condition's
2) They differ more the condition's
3) Hexes are mostly caster's only
4) Conditions are mostly NON-casters
5) There are more skills that cause condition's then hexes.

Ps. how does everybody kknow about upcomming update -> url please.
